Payment Information
The following payment options are available at PORTARA:
- payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover), either online through our secure server, by fax, or by phone;
- payment by money order (by mail).
We recommend that you pay by credit card online using our secure server, since this is the most efficient route. If you would prefer to pay by credit card over the phone, by check, or by money order, please contact us at 718-961-2299.
SALES TAX
Sales tax is charged on every order placed or delivered within New York. We are required BY THE LAW to collect Sales Tax of 8.75% on all orders picked up at the store. The final confirmation page of your order displayed shows the amount of sales tax that will be charged on your order if you live in New York State. If your billing address is located in another state other than New York, and you place an order that you like to be delivered to a New York State address, then you will be charged Sales Tax also. These charges would be applied to your total after we receive your order.
